Durable for tough conditions

Our Hitachi excavators are designed to be durable to ensure a high level of performance in challenging working environments. The arm-bucket joint is reinforced with WC thermal spraying, which reduces wear and jerking significantly.

Several options are available to further enhance durability, including a reinforced bucket and arm, and a full-length undercover for the track frame. For the safety of operators, the CRES (corner reinforced structure) cab is strengthened with high-rigidity steel tubes at the corners.
Highly productive

Our fuel-saving technology has helped the ZX70-5G and ZX70LC-5G models to achieve higher levels of productivity using less fuel. The engine is designed to increase its maximum torque to keep running without a decrease in speed at high altitudes and in hot climates. At maximum torque, the speed remains low to ensure a stable performance even under heavy loads.

We’ve also enhanced the machine’s cooling efficiency, which is particularly important for working long shifts in high temperatures.
