The Nano17 is constructed with a protection rating of IP 65, for water spray protection. It also has a protection level of IP 68, to enable the submersion of 4 m in fresh water. The unit is designed with silicon strain gage, which delivers a 75x stronger signal compared to traditional foil gages. This device provides an almost zero noise distortion, as the signal is amplified. Also, it offers a single-axis overload, with values of 3.1 up to 6.9 rated capacities.

Additionally, the Nano43 is suitable for use in different processes such as wet applications, robotic surgery, and water tunnel testing.
