Plastic fiber optic sensors incorporate synthetic sheets in its composition, allowing easy and convenient handling. Their architectural elements permits trouble-free dimensional configuration during initial assembly, with the polymers' ability to bend and fit thoroughly.

These tools are coated in special finishing to specifically endure intense environments with exposure to frequent rusting, scratching and wearing.

They can accommodate both opposed and diffused detecting requirements with the individuals or bifurcated models, with dimensions that range between 0.25 to 1.5 mm.
