Banner QS18 is an economical ultrasonic sensor in the widely-used WORLD-BEAM housing. It is capable of detecting both clear and transparent material, including color variations. It offers a wide sensing window of 50 to 500 mm and has a response time of 15 milliseconds.

QS18 can operate in temperatures ranging from -20° to 60° C. It features temperature compensation for any changes in air. It provides precise measurements in all environments, including wet and dirty environments. The push-button TEACH facilitates sensor or remote programming with ease.

QS18 allows viewing of operating status using LED indicators visible from 360°. The sensors offer encapsulated models with IP67 or IP68 protection suitable for a variety of challenging environments. Based on the model, output is 10 to 30V dc supply voltage with NPN or PNP
