The 166G/169G is a low-profile aluminum single point load cell, manufactured by BCM Sensor Technologies. It is made from parallel bending beam working principle. The 166G/169G is commonly used in manufacturing postage scales, kitchen scales, portable scales and other platform scales.

The load cells are moment insensitive. When installed in a platform scale, it reads the same regardless of the position of the load applied to the upper platform.

This series offers a capacity range from 1, ..., 30 kg (166G) and 20, , 100 kg (169G), including 0.05 % full scale accuracy class. The 166G is constructed from aluminum structure with surface anodized, while the 169G series are made out of 17-4Ph stainless steel design. This series complies with the IP65 environment protection class. It also has the weight of max. 100 kg. It can be used in 180 x 180mm recommended platform size.
