The capacitive detectors are utilized for sensing any type of material, while few of them like liquid or metals can be sensed through plastic or glass walls. They can be regulated for versatile applications such as, level monitoring in preserving bins or tanks, survey filling bottles, rain detector and anti-vandalism tab. The flexibility of detecting distance is done by a potentiometer at the rear end of the housing.
It has a 7.7-9 Vdc supply voltage in accordance with NAMUR with a 10% maximal ripple consumption at 8.2 V with 1000 Ω Rx greater than 3 mA with metal and less than 1 mA without metal. It has a -20° - +60°C temperature spectrum and a maximum thermal drift of detecting distance ± 20% and a 4% redundancy precision. It has IP65 certified safety and a 0.75 mm2 cable conductor cross section.
