Type 4370 a piezoelectric, DeltaShear®, Unigain® accelerometer with top connector, including cable. The device is fitted with 10 – 32 UNF receptacle for output connection and you can mount it on the object with the help of 10 – 32 UNF threaded steel stud. This general purpose accelerometer is high sensitivity, low-level and low-frequency measurements. This piezoelectric accelerometer can be treated as a charge source. The device uses charge per unit acceleration (pC/g) to express sensitivity. The design of the device entails three piezoelectric elements and three masses in a triangular configuration around a triangular centre post. A high degree of linearity is ensured through the ring which prestresses the piezoelectric elements. The housing and the clamping ring collects the charge. You have PZ 23 lead zirconate titanate element as the piezoelectric element, while the housing material is stainless steel.
