incremental linear encoder / rack-and-pinion / sealed / robust

CR80 is a transducer that is extremely rugged and accurate and is designed for machine tools, numerical controls, etc. It constitutes incremental line encoding with "pre-assembled" pinion-rack system (type) having mod. 0,796 racks for position reading ranging from a size of 100 mm to 50.000 mm (and more) with a magnificent resolution of 1 µm to 1 mm. This device is highly reliable in rough working conditions having vibrations, oils, steam, chips, etc. CR85 is another transducer like CR80 but with racks of cheaper type.
