Honeywell’s Model MA15 economical, amplified piezoelectric accelerometer finds application in wide range of industrial test and automation environments; including laboratory testing, modal studies and test cells. The blend of constant current low output impedance and high load capacitance drive allows long runs of low cost cable with safe data. The Model MA15 features a high natural frequency, a wide frequency range, and a flat sensitivity vs. temperature response over the temperature range.
The mechanical isolation of seismic element from the mounting base, results in low base strain sensitivity. The non-magnetic stainless steel materials results in very low magnetic field susceptibility. These features in conjunction with a rugged, stainless steel and sealed body ensures accurate and reliable data. The series comes in various configurations and options that include connector or integral stainless steel armored cable (specify length at time of ordering) and mounting holes.
