The HYDAC HLS 528 distance sensor is a non-contact yet a high compact sensor for measuring the distance to fluids and objects in a non-pressure application. It has a durable design with a protection class to EN 60529. Its housing is made from nickel-plated brass and attributes resistance against short-circuit. It operates with an optimum resolution due to its functional principle . It has a peak mreasurement range of 6000mm and is available in three signal output types (2 switching outputs; 1 analogue output, either 4 - 20 mA or 0 - 10 V, and 1 or 2 switching outputs).
