This magnetic sensor is constructed with a full metal housing, and offers a consistent switch point even in the event of mechanical tolerances. The unit is impact, shock and vibration resistant for use in a variety of applications. It is temperature stable, and provides a reproducible switch point.

It is appropriate for both the food industries and other hygienic settings. The long range of the unit permits installation behind non-magnetic metals, stainless steel, plastic, wood, glass, and non-ferrous metal to provide an economical and speedy mounting. It is not necessary to create holes or flush installation.

Unit can also be used for cleaning pipes. It is ideal for use with mechanically demanding situations. Ideal uses include telescope and swivel arms, and industrial trucks. Unit is IP 69K up to 100 °C in full-metal food-grade housing.
