The Safety Light Curtains from IFM are installed easily. Through the pin connection, the blanking is configured to fit the needs. Also, programming is no longer needed, and connection to IEC 61496 is made possible by an M12 connector Type 4. Also, the product comes with SL3 to IEC 61508 and PLe to ISO 13849-1. During material input, however, the process should not yield. These OY8 types allows banking to a maximum of 3 beams without triggering the safety function. It turns off if the none of the beams or if more than the set number of beams are disturbed, which provides extended safety to the user.
