Providing a measuring rate of 70kHz, this high speed controller is currently the worldwide fastest confocal chromatic controller with integrated light source. It is used for fast distance and thickness measurements of highly reflecting surfaces. An active exposure time regulation feature allows different surface types to be compensated even with dynamic processes. A multi-peak version enables one-sided thickness measurement of transparent measurement objects with up to five layers.


The controller can be operated with any IFS sensor and is available as a standard version for distance measurements or as a multi-peak version for thickness measurements. Due to a user-friendly web interface, the entire configuration process is carried out without using any additional software. Data output is via Ethernet, EtherCAT, RS422 or analogue output.
