The optoNCDT 1700 LL, a special laser sensor is used with shiny metals and structured surfaces. The laser features an oval laser spot, which is good for easy and precise measurement on, however, smooth or shiny the surface maybe, especially metal surfaces and structured objects. The different measuring ranges of the laser are 1, 10, 20 and 50. Offers a maximum of two-micrometer linearity. The maximum resolution of the laser is 0.1 micrometers. The laser can give exact measurements on metal surfaces too. A controller is integrated within the sensor. In structured surfaces, distance measurement is possible. The adjustable measuring rate at a maximum of 2.5kHz. When the surfaces are changed, there is real-life compensation. While measuring oval laser spot, a special lens is used.
