The absolute separator is a scale unit that uses a non-contact detection unit for linear motors. The system can resist contamination from water and oil and has a detector head that is a third of the volume of a traditional head. The cable connection port can be used in one of four directions. Added installation slots are on the upper and lateral spots. Servo amplifiers can be supported as well.

The scale unit works from 100 to 6,000mm and is accurate by (5+5L/1,000)μm when operating at 20 degrees Celsius. The L refers to the effective range in millimeters. The device has an electromagnetic induction system and a response speed of 5,000mm per second.
