The GBF model is manufactured by MTS Sensor Technologie, and is a position sensor that has a large variety of mechanical options, interfaces and performances . It has programming tools which can be ﬂexibly adapted to applications, and is available with analogue or digital start/stop output and can be programmed very easily.

The unit has an analog output with a stoke length of 50 to 2000 mm, and an SSI output with a stroke length of 25 to 3250 mm. It has an infinite resolution for the analog output.
