The RSM2800 Rotary Sensor, manufactured by Novotechnik, features the combination of the ability to measure angles across multiple turns with the durability and cost-efficiency of multiple turn wire-wound potentiometers. Through the combination of a single-turn angle detection with a separate turn detection, this rotary sensors is capable of measuring angles across multiple turns, thus enabling higher resolution as well as accuracy. Furthermore, since this sensor is capable of detecting turn in an powerless state, it is considered a true power when it comes to angle sensors but in a space-saving model.
