The ID1301C is manufactured by Posic, and is a dual channel encoder in an SMD package. The unit is suitable for use in a variety of applications such as in brushed and brushless motors, robotics, medical equipment, and in rotary stages. The model is resistance against dusts, particles, oils, and grease.

The has a thin profile as it measures 0.9 mm, and is integrated with a hollow-shaft codewheel.
