The Schmersal BNS 180 safety sensor is enclosed in a highly durable thermoplastic housing that is resistant contamination making it suitable for food processing industry.

The sensor also features a large switching distance, Ø M 18x1, resistance to transverse misalignment, and no mechanical wear prolonging the longevity of the sensor.
