The W4SL-3 series of Sick are industrial sensors designed to provide laser precision for small or transparent objects. They contain an accurate laser light spot that is classified as laser class 1. The teach-in button can be changed between transparent and small non-transparent object detection. They have the ability to sense object from distances of 25mm to 60m. They contain laser technologies with second emitter LED to deliver a good background suppression and resistance to ambient light.
