Sika offers a load sensor built for specific applications, depending on the maximum load, direction of stress, and accuracy required. They have manufactured different load cells for various applications like weighing machine construction, material dosing and filling, automation, and more.

The FTCA S-type is a load cell by Sika. It is an easy-to-use sensor for measuring both compression and tension. The sensor transfers the load over the two threads, having a capacity range of 1 kg to 50 kg. It has a compact construction made in aluminum. In addition, it offers a high accuracy of ≤ ±0.030% for linearity and hysteresis.

The load cell is supplied with matching accessories. It can have knuckle eyes for tensile load, and mounting plates and load transfer heads for compressive load.
