The Timken industrial package magnetic encoder offers a magnetic hollow-shaft incremental encoder with dependable performance at an affordable price. The magnetic technology (patented) is accessible in numerous resolutions providing an increase in performance over what standard optical encoders offer in vibration/high shock environments.

The design can readily handle the shaft size range generally found in 2” to 3.5” hollow-shaft designs. The IP50 package comes standard with a 2” deep low-profile mechanical design and a durable polymer housing. IP66 is optional.
