The Francis Turbine is a hydro-turbine manufactured by Kirloskar Brothers Limited. Specifically suitable for areas with medium head and medium discharge, it features a unit output reaching up to 20 MW and a head measuring up to 300m. In addition, the turbine can be used in different applications including the small hydro-electric projects and pumped storage.
