arc flash protection relay / current / phase / DIN rail

Littelfuse PGR-8800 arc-flash relay is UL and cUL listed. It provides dependable detection of developing arc-flash incidents and avoids nuisance tripping. It achieves this by spotting a combination of extra light and current. For arc-flash protection with current constraints, phase-current-transformer inputs are available. The addition of inputs enable a programmable definite-time overcurrent function.

PGR-8800 has an optical sensor and changeable trip level. These features allow setting a limit for ambient light, and thus minimize the risk of nuisance setting. To guarantee a fail-proof operation, it routinely monitors sensors, inputs, and connections. A redundant trip path is given by a secondary solid-state trip circuit. A USB port is employed for configuration, access event logs and graphs.
