Mersen's HelioProtection® Photovoltaic fuse-links gPV was created and produced to particularly protect the photovoltaic systems. These special purpose fuses have a square body fuse links for photovoltaic purposes. These fuses links are designed for cable protection in a PV group of chains whenever a short-circuit takes place in panel (main fuse category). Its main fuse range lengthens the PV fuse links on a size having a worldwide acceptance. These fuse links are of gPV type and both adhere to the IEC 60269-6 and UL 2579 requirements.
