The 750-663/000-003 "4F-Ex i DI" Module is the right choice for connection of potential-free sensors with contacts for use in hazardous environments with gas and dust-filled atmospheres. The input data for the 4-channel digital input module, together with the other process data, is transferred securely using PROFIsafe protocols V1 and V2 on one fieldbus line.

The 4-channel digital module is approved for ignition protection ia, making it suitable for use with intrinsically safe sensors operating directly in hazardous environments of Zones 0/20, 1/21 or 2/22. All inputs can monitor for voltage supply from external sources and cross circuits. Short-circuit proof outputs with two different cycle rates supply the inputs with the intrinsically safety voltage that they need. Install this 4-channel digital input module in the WAGO-I/O-SYSTEM 750 together with classic automation components in Zone 2. The four intrinsically safe inputs with functional safety, on the other hand, detect secure sensors in Zone 0/20, for example, to determine their safety functions up to "SIL 3" (IEC 61511, EN IEC 62061) and "Cat. 4 PLe" (EN ISO 13849).
