The type K3-K are low voltage contactors that are specifically designed to convert low-inductive and low loss capacitors in capacitors banks that may or may not be equipped with reactors. These contactors are matched with earlier manufactured contacts and damping resistors to minimize the value of make current lesser than 70 x Ie.
