SIHI Group has designed a revolutionary vertical single-stage and two-stage MFS mixers.
The MFS mixers have ability to circulate in egg-shaped, conical cylindrical or cylindrical digesters. This system causes the finest mixing operation in both directions and the constant heating of the sludge. They are also designed for constant reversible operations. The circulating sludge in any direction for long periods of time satisfies main process requirements.
The mixer has a special screw-type impellers and a deflector disk mounted on the shaft. The draft tube can perform as a suction pipe or as a discharge pipe. The combined thrust and guide bearing located in the seating ring are supporting the shaft. MFS is driven by a motor or an intermediate gear whose pedestal is attached on the basis. The adjustment of the draft tube length is possible in order to suit the application. Assembly is eased by the flanged pipe section design.
The mixer has a flow rate that reaches up to 6,200 m³/h. The maximum speed is 1500 rpm.
