The AAD-8100 is an intelligent Fire Alarm Aspirating Sensing Technology (FAAST) smoke detector. The AAD-8100 combines dual source optical smoke detection with the fire alarm control connectivity to provide high sensitivity fire detection. FAAST can provide enhanced immunity to any nuisance particulates, allowing it to delivery highly accurate Very Early Warning Fire Detection, protecting up to 8,000 square feet. The AAD-8100 is compatible with the E3 Series (Velociti ONLY).
