The PRONAL underwater shelter is manufactured from a polyamide fabric, coated on both sides with neoprene rubber. This shelter can be used for the execution of underwater operations under dry conditions, such as the maintenance of ships screw propellers, which will often involve welding operations.
Each shelter has reinforcements integrated in its skin, in order to prevent the propagation of any tear.
PRONAL underwater shelters are designed according to the works to be executed. Weight, footprint, deployment and vertical thrust will be considered in the design calculation and definition of these products.
The underwater shelter can be re-used its weight in air (30 kg per m3 of capacity) and folded-down volume (0.15m3 per m3 of capacity) are consistent with rapid transport.
