diesel engine hydraulic power unit / wheel-mounted

Alcoa Fastening Systems presents Powerig® 911D Huck® diesel engine. Using the unit, Huck fasteners can be installed in all environments with no need of a 3-phase power supply. This makes it suitable for bridge, rail track, fencing, construction and maintenance/repair applications. It is compatible with a broad variety of Huck hydraulic installation devices, including the latest Huck BobTail LockBolt's Bobtail tooling system.

The unit has a maximum pull pressure of 700 bar (10150 psi) and maximum return pressure of 400 bar (5800 psi). The Powerig features a 12 vdc battery and an electric starter motor with a key-operated switch. The engine and pump provide uninterrupted operation. When the tool is in ideal state, the tool piston is maintained in the forward position by a low hydraulic pressure (idle pressure). A pull and return pressure, hydraulic hoses and an electrical control cord are used for connecting the installation tool with the Powerig.
