MagmunOT: Series of transition fittings with brass threaded element moulded in the polypropylene body in order to prevent their pull out. Ready to join hydraulic equipments and threaded metal pipes with polyethylene pipes with diameters ranging from d.16 mm up to d.63 mm.

Magnum, MagnumUNI (PE side) and MagnumOT (PE side) compression fittings make use of the DSFL® exclusive low interference hydro-mechanical sealing system.
This special system guarantees the insertion of pipes inside the fittings with very low manual effort and a complete operational safety.
Once the pipe is inserted, the progressive tightening of the ring nut forces the pressure bush to compress the O-ring, ensuring the water tight sealing and adjusting possible problems due to ovalized or underdimensioned pipes. The O-ring functionality and the hydraulic sealing are preserved thanks to a calibrated compression.
When under pressure the clinching ring detaches from the pressure bush in order to reach the correct working position and guarantee the effective mechanical sealing.

The transition fitting with metal/plastic body MagnumOT series, gives the advantage of an increased mechanical resistance of the threaded joints between hydraulic equipments or metal pipes to PE pipes, exploiting the easy and quick installation system of mechanical compression fittings.
