hot oil hose / for water / for compressed air / brake

This engine hose, by MegaTech™, is recommended for pressurized hot oil return lines and air brake lines, for power steering, tilt cab cylinders, engine and transmission coolant and filtration lines. Its tube is constructed from chlorinated polyethylene (CPE) and reinforced by one braid of high tensile steel wire. The covering is of oil resistant textile braid, impregnated with synthetic rubber, MSHA approved. It can tolerate -40°C to +150°C temperature; -40°C to +121°C air; -40°C to +100°C phosphate ester fluids.

This engine hose meets the requirements of SAE J1019 performance specifications for high temperature transmission oil systems and high temperature lubrication oil systems which utilize petroleum-based oils. It uses standard trademarked gate technology. At -4 to -20 it meets SAE J1402.

MegaTech™ engine hose has very good resistance to weathering and ozone. Additional features include compatibility with various fluids, including hydraulic oil, phosphate esters and diesters. Its couplings at -40 to -20 use MegaCrimp® technology and at -24, -32 they use GlobalSpiral™ Plus.
