The MegaSys® Spiral-Wire Constant Pressure Hose features the GlobalSpiral™ Maximum (GSM) coupling and is available with Gates' special MegaTuff™ device cover, which provides over 300 times more abrasion resistance than an EFGxK cover. The cover is also MSHA flame resistant, and can bend up to 40% of the ISO 3862/EN 856 minimum bend radius requirements.

This device offers greater performance efficiency than ISO 3862/EN 856 requirements, partly thanks to the two-piece coupling design and the resilient "bite-the-wire" crimp. The MegaSys® Spiral-Wire Constant Pressure Hose is fitted with a one-piece stem on all couplings, and is weather and ozone resistant.
