Nitto CUPLA F35 quick connect coupling has a flat contact face design. When compared to a traditional design, this design lowers spill by less than half when disconnected. The flat contact face design also simplifies cleaning of dust and foreign matters stuck on the coupling's surface. If not cleaned, the particles can enter inside and result in faulty connection or disconnection. At the time of connection, air admixture is minimized due to the flat contact face design. This minimizes the risk of equipment malfunctioning due to air bubbles in the hydraulic line.

F35 has a push-to-connect operation. After connection, the rotating sleeve engages the sleeve stopper function. This way, any unintentional disconnection is avoided even with the application of vibration or impact to the the Cupla. Pressure loss is reduced significantly due to the special design, making the coupling ideal for hydraulic applications. Any fluid spill out during disconnection prevented by the integrated automatic shut-off valves featured in the socket and plug.
