The Volumetric belt extractor XKV has a feed structure with a device allowing adjustment to the height of material layer, and a sensor for detecting material. These are extended by product edge guide strips, any potential risk of the belt getting jammed is prevented by the horizontal and lateral clearance angles on the feed structure and the edge strips.

XKV features a belt carrier system with modular braced frames including a carrier roller train, return roller, and a smooth rubber belt with anti-abrasion coating. The belt can be quickly replaced by extracting laterally at the side of the hopper. The XKV also has belt flap seals, and included is a device for assisting in replacement of belt.

Volumetric’s technical department has defined the characteristics of this vulcanised endless belt as per the materials to be handled.
