The Silverson Mixer Homogenizers are fast and reliable homogenizers. They can make fine droplets with a size range of 2-5 microns. These homogenizers are applicable for a large number of products like creams, lotions, ointments, sauces and flavor emulsions. The precision-machined Silverson workhead produces very high shear rates in a three-stage process that quickly homogenizes the product to their needed consistency. A high-pressure homogenizer is required for some applications that demand submicron of globule sizes. In this case, using the Silverson Mixer Homogenizer first will highly improve throughput. Feeding the high-pressure homogenizer with a premix of uniform and fine globule size lets the product pass through the homogenizer at a much quicker rate. This process is more efficient and cost-effective.
