The SOCO FM series chamfering and length measuring unit enables simultaneous chamfering of both tube ends up to 3,000 mm long (for the FM-76V model) or 20 mm (FM-60SS model). The length measuring is done with up to +/- 0.02 mm accuracy. These models can also be fitted with the optional BTM (Bundle Loading Magazine), for fully automatic loading, feeding, chamfering and length measuring process. Additionally, it is possible to pre-program these machines to automatically halt when the certain number of pieces do not fall within the specified length tolerance, due to an absolute length measuring system (against a calibrated piece).
