The multi N/C® UV HS wet chemical TOC analyzer can be used with an oxidation agent (peroxodisulfate) or a very efficient source of UV radiation for sample oxidation. This highly flexible system offers excellent sensitivity making it ideal for ultra-pure water samples, drinking water or special samples (acids, electrolysis baths and similar aggressive matrices). This model uses two wavelengths of 254 and 185 nm, providing hard radiation that ensures complete oxidation (even with highly stable carbon compounds), making it far more effective, when compared with standard TOC analyzers that only use one wavelength. The minimal system blank values are maintained via effective blank value reduction (automated purging of the reagents). The user friendly interface enables simple TOC determination, in case of ultra-pure water analysis, a suitable method can be easily selected from the list in the interface delivering only the amount of energy needed for full oxidation, without oxidation agents.
