Azo sampling unit type PRA is useful for filling of outdoor and indoor silos.

During the process of filling of the silo, there exists an overpressure which is pressing a defined quantity into the receiver while the air is being discharged through a filter. A level indicator controls the filling level and gives an indication to the operator when the manual butterfly valve can remove the sample into the sampling hopper. Once the sampling process is complete, the collection hopper can be disconnected using quick clamps, and can be covered.

The covered hopper goes to the laboratory. During filling, all samples are removed from the pipe lines in a similar fashion. Only when the laboratory gives a release, the product within the sample can be used.

In case of any anomalies during sampling, the supply to the production area can be stopped, and the product can be returned back to the supplier.
