sound intensity probe / IEC

The Bruel & Kjaer Sound Intensity Probe kit 3599 is a compressed system that is composed of two microphone devices. This product is used for gauging noise concentration rating. It is equipped with ZH-0632 remote console and a half an inch 4197 dual sound sensor, which exhibits a patented phase-controller unit.

The Sound Intensity Probe Kit phase controller unit evaluates proper frequency phasing and reduces the effect of altering environmental impact. The 3599 device fittings allow 1/3 octave core frequency measurement between 20 Hz and 6.3 kHz cycle.

The 3599 has 1/2 inch patended phase-corrector microphones and the equipment also has IEC 1043 Class 1 rating, providing further reliance to its output. It is configurable through integrating a LAN-XI Type 3050-A with UA-2104-031 data-collecting hardware.
