Scanning Infrared Gas Imaging System is extensively used for detection and visualization of long range mobile or stationary chemicals. The system uses a combination of an infrared spectrometer with a single detector element and a scanner system for a long range identification, quantification, and visualisation of potentially hazardous gas clouds.
The unique and robust SIGIS enables an automatic real-time 360° detection and identification with the help of video and infra-red cameras for day and night use. SIGIS has always been regularly deployed with Emergency Response Forces at such events as the FIFA World Cup, NATO and G8 Summits.
