The XAN 220, manufactured by Fischer, is a X-ray fluorescence measuring instrument for fast and non-destructive analysis of gold and silver alloys. It can deliver comparable results as cupellation without destroying the sample. It also features measuring direction from bottom to top, this allows for quick and easy sample positioning.
