The main working of this machine is that a load is applied to a test piece and then removed. The probe displacement can be measured to as small as 10um resolution by an optical displacement sensor.
It allows the user to use this machine for repeated loading, up to 9,999 cycles. Viscoelastic fatigue can also be assessed.

The assessment of material textures, durability of sealing and packing or padding of materials can also be done.
It can also measure photoengraved products, flooring materials.
