The BTX Benchtop XRD System is a self-contained, fast and affordable device that is vital for small footprint, quick XRF scan of elements Ca - U and benchtop XRD for full phase ID of minor, major and trace components. It is well-suited to educational settings and rigors of a QC application. Its minimal chamber and prep technique grant for fast, benchtop analysis rivaling the performance of high cost lab units.

The BTX Benchtop X-ray Diffraction/X-ray Fluorescence is the first combined XRD/XRF device customized with convenience of use in mind. It features the same level of performance, although without the aspects of a portable instrument. The technology used in both mineral analyzer and portable rock garnered a distinguished R&D 100 award and was selected to fly on the Mars Science Laboratory Rover scheduled for launch in 2011.
