The Micro-trans-SPEC is a portable gamma spectrometer that is characterized by its light weight structure weighing 15 lb and its durable enclosure that houses the display and connections. The enclosure protects the components from moisture, dust and water spray as well. It possesses optimum sensitivity via its high-purity Germanium detector that has a diameter of 50 mm x 30 mm. This spectrometer consists of durable digital electronics and a clear VGA display. Its flexibility is due to wide range of power sources as well as its built in and external battery and automobile power. The Micro-trans SPEC can be connected through a USB version 2.0 or through GPS.
