The new PHOTONIS Ion Mobility Spectrometer (IMS) Analyzer is a complete assembly for IMS analysis. It has high resolving power of 64-150 and comes in a compact design. The unit is comprised of PHOTONIS patented Resistive Glass products that are based on robust ion gate technology to create an IMS analyzer. It improves resolution and simplifies serviceability.

The key feature of IMS Analyzer is the resistive Glass that replaces conventional lens assemblies. The reaction and drift tubes consist of resistive glass that provide a solid construction to the new IMS Analyzer. This kind of arrangement allows the uniform counter flow of drift gas without additional contamination.
The Resistive Glass is manufactured through PHOTONIS process by creating an electric field guide the charged particles. It results in greater throughput as well as sample transfer. The paltform is designed in such a way that it can be scaled and customized to interface with a variety of instruments.
