The detector is equipped with a cartridge that comprises a Chevron™ set of two Long-Life™ MCPs that are small pored and display extended dynamic range. The cartridge incorporates a transmission grid that is positioned in a tough, robust module. The cartridge can be bought by itself to facilitate fast and convenient replacement of the MCPs.
