The Shimadzu BioSpec Mini is designed to measure DNA, RNA and protein. This device has a minimum requirement of 5uL cuvette for nuclleic quantitation that supports dsDNA, ssDNA, RNA, oligo DNA, oligo RNA.. It is calibrated to have a user-friendly software for nucleic acid molecular weight, molar absorbance coefficient(ε), and Tm (melting temperature of double strand DNA or RNA) prediction by the nearest neighbor base pair model calculations. Results are displayed in a large LCD. In protein quantitation this apparatus uses Lowry, BCA, CBB（Bradford）, Binret and UV absorption（280nm）method.
