Glass packaging on plastic sheets is because of the opportunity of multiple use of the sheets very economic and environmentally friendly. This is used more and more often. But it also issues a challenge for a glass factory, that at any unpacked pallet on its way of transportation from the palletizer to the pallet packaging no bottles get lost or greater damages occur.

- At the classical horizontal strapper with PET-tapes the tape tension is often not exactly reproducible and not that finely adjusted as it is necessary for glass products
- In consequence: glass compensation damages
- PET-tape is an additional type of material which has to be disposed separately.

For resolving the problems of the strapping MSK developed the MSK Looptech directly at the funnel table or after the palletizing, a slender tape of film is wrapped for strapping around the layer of bottles.
